Taherpur, Oct. 26: Family members and relatives of a Tumpa Biswas, a homemaker, who was found hanging under mysterious circumstances in last week at her in-laws house in Barasat village of Taherpur, today blocked Ranaghat-Krishnanagar state highway in front of Taherpur police station accusing the police of inaction on their complaint against the in-laws of woman. Family members alleged that Tumpa Biswas, who got married two months ago, was tortured to death by his inlaws. They lodged a complaint of murder. Police by force removed the blockade after about an hour.
