The members of the association handed over the cheques to Sudip Biswas’s mother Mamata Biswas and Bablu Santra’s widow Mita Santra at a programme that was held at the Howrah Orthopaedic Hospital. Chief Medical Superintendent, Additional Chief Medical Superintendent, other senior doctors and staff of the hospital were present at the occasion.

Additional chief medical superintendent Chandan Pathak said, “It is a tribute on behalf of our organization to the slain jawans who were martyred in Pulwama. We know that their families have suffered irreparable loss which can never be compensated with any amount of money. Nevertheless, we contributed a small amount as a mark of our sincere respect for the two brave hearts of our state so that their family members could meet at least a small part of their needs in their absence”.
