IISER-Kolkata Signed MoU With 4 Foreign Institutes

Mohanpur, Dec. 20: To increase fruitful collaborative researches, the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research-Kolkata (IISER-K) authorities in this week have signed memorandum of understanding (MoUs) with Institute of Environmental Research of the Faculty of Chemistry, Max Planck Gesellschaft of Germany, Lund University of Sweden, Institute of Molecular Science, Japan and Changshu Institute of Technology, China. In a statement issued by the IISER-K today claimed that similar MoU with E`cole Nationale Supe`rieure of France and University of Central Florida (USA), Universities of Japan would soon be signed to envisage mutual exchange of students for a period of a semester or more for joint degrees, apart from research and academic collaborations. Professor P. Panigrahi, Dean of International Relations said: “The spirit of collaboration, both in terms of creating cutting-edge infrastructures and free exchange of knowledge and experience will benefit the Nation at large and IISER Kolkata in particular.
