The online registration and submission of form will be closed on November 17. “This is a matter of great pleasure to me that we are the first University in the state to launch such an online system for the two most crucial jobs of the students for which they used to wait long hours in the queue”, said Kalyani University vice-chancellor Professor Sankar Kumar Ghosh. “From Tuesday they are able to do these two jobs by some clicks sitting at the comfort of their homes”, the VC added.

To do the job, the students would require visiting the portal titled:pcdpcal.com/kuregapp. The link would soon also be available on the home page of the university portal, an official said. Earlier in last year, Kalyani University had launched the only fee payment system

The University at the same time is all set to introduce an online result announcement system as well. “In pursuance of the UGS guidelines we are trying to modernize the examination system. As part of it, we would soon launch a system through which the examiners will be able to upload the marks of the students evaluating their answer scripts directly to their individual profiles. This will reduce the evaluation time of the papers”, University’s controller of examination Professor Bimalendu Biswas said.
