Nearly one thousand students, teachers and non teaching staff of Kalyani University today walked in a rally to propagate the message of peace, harmony and love while condemning the recent violence that hit parts of North 24parganas district. The 4km walk was flagged off by vice chancellor professor Sankar Kumar Ghosh. Representatives of some religious organizations like Imam of Chandmari Mosque Imam Sahichand Mondal, Swami Kalikrishna Ananda maharaj of Jagatmata Ramkrishna Sevashram Sangha and father Soumen Mondal of Saint Philip Church also took part in the walk.
