Kalyani, June 5: Triptesh Biswas, a student of Kalyani University Experimental School has stood 8th in the rank list of the engineering entrance examination conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) board, the result of which was published today.

Son of Biplab Biswas, a history teacher of a Hooghly district based high school, Triptesh, however, yet to make up his mind about appearing in the counseling for the Engineering. His passion is to become an engineer, but that only by pursing a course in computer application from IIT.

“I appeared in the JEE almost carelessly only being inspired by some of my friends. Today I became little surprised after checking my results. I am yet to make up my mind about appearing in the counseling as my actual target is to be admitted to IIT”.

Triptesh has passed this year’s higher secondary examination. But he did not secured any rank in the examination. In Madhyamik Examination too he could not secure any rank.

But, a resident of B-block in Kalyani, Triptesh, has a tremendous fascination for mathematics. Speaking about his future plan he said: “My objective is to get an admission to IIT to study computer application. But, if I do not get opportunity in IIT, I would like to study Mathematics and computer science as well from Chennai based Institute of Mathematics”.
