Tehatta, Dec. 16: Bengal CPI (M) chief Surjakanta Mishra today called the party men to be prepared enough to resist looting of votes by the ruling Trinamul Congress at any cost in the ensuing panchayat elections. Speaking at a public meeting at Tehatta high school ground on Saturday after that was held on the occasion of party’s Nadia district committee’s 23rd conference, the senior politburo member said: “There is strong possibility that the members of ruling party would unleash terror. Venomous snake could sneak into your house. Resist the snake at any const to save your house”. “Come up strong and be confident to take the challenge so that your votes are protected and your opinion is honored”, the senior CPI (M) leader said the party workers. The indoor session of the party would begin from tomorrow at the Dinabandhu Mitra auditorium in presence of Surjakanta Mishra and other senior leaders.
